Every day, #TeamloanDepot strives to help responsible borrowers achieve their dreams. But we are also dedicated to improving the quality of life for the people in the communities in which we live and work.
As part of this year’s Thanksgiving celebration, #TeamloanDepot set a new challenge. The goal? To double the 1,500 pounds of food collected last Thanksgiving holiday.
“We are blessed with great careers at a company with an amazing future,” says Licensed Lending Officer James Foxall. “This food drive enables us to help our communities and demonstrate our commitment to helping those who are less fortunate.”
While we will not have the final weight tally until mid-December, Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County was able to confirm that we had easily doubled our previous years’ record—and then some. And, when that effort is combined with the collections made in our other offices nationwide, the overall impact is that much more impressive.
“We are extremely thankful for all that we have,” adds Executive Vice President, Legal, Peter Macdonald, who regularly takes his team to volunteer at Second Harvest. “It is important to give the precious gift of food to those who are less fortunate, now and throughout the year.”
Not a group to rest, #TeamloanDepot has already replaced the food bins with toy bins. The plan? To make this year’s Toys for Tots toy drive the most spectacular yet. If you would like to help us surpass our goal, please bring your unwrapped toy to any of our locations.
And, from our families to yours, we wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.
