Alex Thomas

I’m Alex Thomas, and I’ve dedicated the last 21 years to the mortgage industry. My journey began as a receptionist at First American Bank, and through hard work and determination, I progressed to roles such as processor, production assistant, and ultimately, Loan Officer. I’ve had the privilege of serving as Branch Manager at Movement Mortgage and most recently as a Mortgage Banker at FirstBank Mortgage. What inspires me daily are the simple joys of life—the soothing sound of rain, the warmth of a freshly brewed cup of coffee, and the meaningful conversations that spark self-discovery and connection. I believe in showing up each day with intention and curiosity, always striving for personal growth. I specialize in helping First-Time Homebuyers, and I have extensive experience with VA and FHA loans. The most rewarding part of my work is the meaningful connections I build with my customers. Guiding them on their journey to homeownership brings me immense joy and purpose. I love helping others uncover insights that transform their perspective on the home-buying process. I’m incredibly passionate about making homeownership a reality for everyone! Outside of work, I actively volunteer at Madison Academy, my daughter’s school, and I recently joined the Junior League of Huntsville. I also enjoy volunteering with Meals on Wheels and Harris Home. Family is everything to me; I’ve been happily married for 21 years, and together we have a blended family of seven kids and two grandkids, with another on the way. In my free time, I love singing, cooking, shopping, traveling, and curling up with a good book. Fun fact: I even auditioned for American Idol!
