Janet Bretland

Janet Bretland joined loanDepot in 2018 bringing over 25 years of valuable experience. She attended Edison Community College in Piqua, OH. Throughout the years she has built her career as a Home Mortgage Consultant, Sales and Marketing Rep (1989-1993), and Realtor (1982-1989). She looks forward to bringing her well-versed skill set and all of loanDepot’s loan products to her customers.

From a very young age Janet has always been driven to make a difference in the lives of others. In fact, going through her own intimidating home purchase experience as a young adult has driven her to improve the process for all others. She is a true believer of an exciting experience where buyers are thoughtfully guided to meet their financial goals. Janet strives to deliver the best experience, and ensure her borrowers are supported in their important homeownership journey.

When she is not originating loans, Janet enjoys adventure, travel, gardening, and writing. She is married to husband Matt, and has two children, 16-year-old Mollie and 25-year-old Jenna. Her community efforts include serving as a Board Member of the Miami County Chapter of Children’s International Summer Village, a worldwide peace-promoting mission that has been active since 1954.
