Michael currently manages multiple branches and has enjoyed doing so tremendously since joining loanDepot 6 years ago.  He originally took over a branch that had zero retail production and just a few builder Loan Consultants reporting to the branch. Under Michael’s guidance, they have grown to now have 16+ on the team and will have their 6^th consecutive double-digit growth year in 2021, closing over 240 million. They have their sights set on half a billion in 2023!

As a non-producing manager, he focused on what he does best—coach, mentor and lead his team! No deal is too small, and no problem is too big to handle! Michael loves getting in the trenches with his Loan Consultants. To him, the greatest reward is seeing his Loan Consultants reach new personal bests and close more loans than they ever dreamed possible. He feels blessed to work with an amazing operational group of Underwriters and Processors who think outside of the box and who have as much passion to win as he does!

He’s happily married to his wife, Lisa, of 23 years. He’s the father to four amazing young men: Maguire (Texas Tech), Mason (Texas A&M), Landon (high school) and Lane (8th grade).  He’s passionate about all things Texas Tech as well as all the local DFW sports teams. He’s a KC Chiefs fan for the obvious connection to Texas Tech! He still plays soccer multiple times a week (to his body’s disapproval) and will swing a club given the chance.
