Malyna Phan

Malyna joined loanDepot in the spring of 2018 bringing years of valuable experience. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at San Jose State University. Her previous roles include 17+ years in Retail Banking with Wells Fargo, with the last seven focusing on mortgages. Due to her work dedication, Malyna was recognized with various awards, including Top Producer in Cap Valley Area (2012-2016), and Top Friends and Family Fundraising Team for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Malyna has always considered herself a “people person” who enjoys working in a customer service role. She originally pursued working in the mortgage business when her mentor and manager Gloria saw potential in her as a Loan Consultant. Years later, she’s happy to have made the move, and now help others realize their financial goal of homeownership. She strives to deliver a world-class experience to build lifelong relationships with her clients and industry partners.

In her free time, Malyna enjoys the outdoors, running, hiking and camping. When time allows, her goal is to travel as much as possible to create memories with her family. She has been married to Darren since 1999, and together they have two beautiful girls, 11-year-old Hayden and 9-year-old Addison. Her charitable efforts include serving on the Board of Directors with AREAA of Sacramento, Executive Leadership for LLS (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society), and Member of SAR and AREAA.
