Scott Hazard

Scott has been active in the mortgage industry since 1996, initially as a valuation consultant for institutional investors on mortgage portfolios in excess of $1 billion. In 1998, Scott formed the Boston, MA office of GuardHill Financial Corp., a NY based boutique mortgage brokerage firm. Starting from a home office, Scott built the firm’s New England presence into an office of 12 and annual production exceeding $300MM.

Personally, Scott has originated and closed in excess of $850MM for HNW clients since 1998, and has consistently maintained an average loan size in excess of $1MM. He has been with loanDepot since April of 2014 and is a producing Branch Manager of their Jamestown, RI office.

In addition to his professional achievements, Scott is active in various non- profit endeavors, serving as Treasurer and Board Member of Child Advocates of SW Connecticut, President and Board Member of the Silvermine River Neighborhood Association, and also has served for many years on the Golf Committee of Impact Melanoma.

Scott and his wife Lucy live in Jamestown, RI where they are raising their twin boys.
